OH and this combat free mmo which launched on ps4 in its first or second year), dont remember the name but I DO remember it being 25 goddamn euros, barely functioning, ugly as sin, and half an hour in I got stuck in the environment and couldnt get out even if I quit and reloaded xDI tried to get my money back to no avail xD But yeah forgot about those 2 for a hot sec. played around 35 hours of the wii one, loved the time I spent with it but dont remember anything about it besides thinking the graphics were at times almost unbearably bad which Ive never thought about a game I bought before or since (im really curious how id think about it now that im a little older and more forgiving, I think I might pop in my old copy as I still have my wii hooked up anyways,)Įdit: definitely thought the samuel l jackson samurai thing on ps4 looked pretty unacceptable too I now remember. Im not buying the game though any time soon.

Monolith Software is probably the best developer Nintendo has under their umbrella at the moment, and Xenoblade Chronicles X is. Id much rather just have something interesting put in front of me even if I end up liking it less :') SO in that sense I could also be happy that it looks different from the original xD With that being said, this is easily the best game on the Wii U. Theres already more stuff that i like than ill ever have the time for even if nothing new ever gets made. Xenoblade Chronicles X is a massive RPG with enough surface area, sub quests, and customization to keep you busy for many hours.

Its more aesthetically pleasing to me but I honestly dont care too much about being pleased constantly anymore. It looked really unique and now its just looks anime. Hopefully this thread will help some of ya beautiful peeps to get aboard this great game now that it has a new " Definitive Edition" until MonolithSoft makes one too.I wasnt a big fan of the old style but i still think its shame they changed it. There is also an official Xenoblade Chronicles X CEMU Wiki page you can check to troubleshoot any potential issues you may have pretty quickly! You can still play offline of course, and there is a Graphic Pack/Mod that will still allow you to get Reward Tickets and do missions anyways! In order to connect to official servers some system files must be dumped from a Wii U. You can also play online like in the original Wii U! I know many might be curious about that.Ĭemu supports most online features. You may remember that originally, if you played this game in the Wii U the tiny UI text was almost impossible to see and now it's finally somewhat legible!

Raising the resolution to 1080p or higher significantly improves the readability of the UI and does not cause issues btw!

You can use any controller you have for your PC too if you so desire! And you can also scale effects like blur and bloom to the desired resolution. There are many great tweaks you can apply called Graphic Packs which feature lots of enhancements or fixes to games like 4K, a 60FPS patch, better LOD, bloom effects and more!

There's no better guide out there IMO that will explain you how to setup CEMU properly! (and the latest build at that too!) Now finally getting back to topic, sorry about that, if you're interested in running this beautiful game on your PC but you're not sure how to do it check this video out! A rough translation of an interview with Monolith Soft president Tetsuya Takahashi (provided by. Perhaps the next Xenoblade game we'll get will be similar to this one! Or perhaps we'll get a Remaster for the Nintendo Switch at some point now that Xenoblade DE got one! This weeks issue of Famitsu Magazine (archived courtesy of Ryokutya2089) has revealed that Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Editions 'Future Connected' epilogue will be roughly 10-12 hours in length. That will account for just the story portion as doing side quests could double that time. dancing and jumping all over the place, others just running around, everywhere you look is lively!

You can see some of them stopping to drink water from a lake, others. Xenoblade Chronicles X has its share of faults and is a vast departure from the formula that Xeno-games are known for, but it also brings an amazingly large adventure for RPG fans on the Wii U. I really love how many cool details MonolithSoft pushed into this game, including many unique animations for some of the animals living in it's world. And I honestly still got many area themes stuck in my head along with the beggining part of the normal battle theme. Yet the soundtrack for this game was still pretty refreshing. I really like his pretty unique music for this game, of course I'll agree that for the most part the soundtracks for the other Xenoblade games are just godtier no matter what. Hiroyuki Sawano is the composer for this game! He's a pretty popular composer for animes like Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, Guilty Crown, Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill, etc.
